Funeral services for Miss Viola McCree, 88, of Carterville, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Riggin Funeral Home in Carterville with Rev. Earl Black officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends should call after 6 p.m. today. Miss McCree died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday in Doctors Hospital in Carbondale. She was born in Carterville on Dec. 14, 1881, the daughter of John and Catherine Priddy McCree. She was a member of the First Methodist Church. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Mary Jones, and one brother, Sam, both of Carterville."
